The Delaware Comprehensive Assessment System is replacing the DSTP this year. Please click below to read more about this assessment. The DCAS is a comprehensive assessment system. The DCAS Assessment Program will:
- measure student achievement of Delaware academic content standards
- provide multiple opportunities throughout the school year for students to take the assessment
- measure each student’s growth over time along a single scale
- provide schools with timely information useful for instructional program improvement
- provide primary basis for school and school district accountability
- keep parents informed about their students’ strengths and weaknesses
